Start date: Q1/Q2 2025

Compensation: 25-40€/hour (depends on your experience and skills)

The role is quite a challenge – we expect you to design architectures and prototype solutions. Often, you'll be solving problems that no one has tackled before. The work primarily focuses on smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure, while also ensuring the smooth operation of existing blockchain systems.

You'll also be one of the first blockchain developers on our team, meaning you'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of this field within our company. We collaborate with US-based companies, so you'll be working on projects with a global impact.

Your day to day agenda

  • Develop and design software systems both on-chain and off-chain
  • Tackle unique challenges, solving problems that may never have been addressed before
  • Read and analyze unfamiliar systems, adapting quickly to new technologies
  • Help teammates and share knowledge with them,
  • Have deeper knowledge and experience with some technology or have big picture knowledge and experience across the full-stack (blockchain, web/mobile, backend, infrastructure),
  • Have an understanding of your domain/project and make decisions based on business needs
  • Communicate technical stuff with the client or product manager
  • Research new trends and technologies
  • Contribute to knowledge-base

Who are we looking for?

  • 2-3 years of development experience in some language; demonstrated experience in Solidity, Rust, GoLang, or other languages used on blockchains
  • Good understanding of blockchains and Ethereum
  • Hands on experience with tooling related to your language of choice (build systems, package managers, unit testing, CI pipelines)
  • Ability to develop software, implement mission-critical features, and navigate through a large codebase
  • Experience with code review process and ability to conduct them
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Product-oriented thinking.
  • You should be eager to learn new things and improve your skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce production-level code
  • Active approach to work, taking initiative to define and complete tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Habit of implementing thorough unit tests
  • Highly detail-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
  • Fluent English communication, both written and spoken

Some nice to haves

  • Previous work with go-ethereum (geth)
  • Hands-on experience with developing smart contracts and architecting smart contract protocols
  • Partial overlap with the EST time zone, to communicate with the team
