Product Designer

About the role
We're looking for a Product Designer to join our Product Lab team. This role is significant in leading our design efforts, from the depths of product discovery to the final touches that delight users. Your work will not only shape the future of digital products but also help to drive the growth of emerging businesses and other ventures.
What you will do
- Co-own the product discovery phase, driving user and customer research to unearth key insights. Diagnose the problem space before offering direction or advice
- Navigate the entire design and validation journey, crafting user flows, designing interactions, and building prototypes to test and iterate on your ideas
- Design web and mobile interfaces and interactions — make stuff usable, understandable and definitely enjoyable to use
- Validate core usability and viability hypotheses through diverse methods including user interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing
- Help with shaping subsequent product marketing strategies, general brand identity, and brand artefacts definition
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers during implementation, contributing to and enhancing our modular design system
Requirements
- An innovative thinker with a penchant for problem-solving through design, enthusiastic about leveraging technology
- Seasoned in product design, equipped with a portfolio showcasing your journey from concept to completion across various projects
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, partnering with engineering and product management to bring cohesive designs to life
- A commitment to craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail and dedication to creating delightful user experiences
- Flexible in collaboration styles, able to thrive in a semi-remote setting
- A proactive self-starter, comfortable with iterative design process, with a natural drive for action
Nice to haves
- Experience with any kind of design-as-a-service setup (freelance, agency, etc.)
- Product-led growth experience
- Background in branding or marketing
